A suction catheter is designed to sink the sputum and secretion in the respiratory tract.
Brief
The suction catheter is a non-invasive, circular single-use aspiration catheter for a bronchoscopy.
The suction catheter is designed with two different connectors for controlling the suction pressure.
The connector has the unique ability of an additional cap to mount the pressure relief outlet and immediately increase the suction pressure to a maximum.
CHARACTERITICS
The suction catheter is used for oral, nasopharynx and tracheobronchial pumping. It must be connected to the can/can via a pipe before it is connected to the vacuum source.
- The attachment provides the user with a means of sucking the catheter under maximum negative pressure without having to apply his or her thumb continuously to the control outlet.
- If the user does not want to use it, the cover can be easily removed with a slight drag.
- The finger control connector also has a cover that allows the connector’s control outlet to be installed and maximizes suction pressure during use.
- Both types of aspiration catheters are designed with open tips and opposing eyes, and some of the eyes are electronically treated to remove residual burrs on their edges which may otherwise cause trauma to the airway mucosa during treatment.
- It is used by directly inserted into the throat or by inserted Endotracheal tube or anaesthesia.
- All catheters are made of DEHP-free PVC resin and meet safety standards that protect patients from potential toxicity or carcinogenic additives.
- The catheter is 40 cm long, Soft and kink-resisting keep fluent suctioning.
- Transparent or frosted tubing is available.
- Colour-coded connector for easy identification of size.
- Size: F5, F6, ,F8, F10, F12, F14, F16, F18, F20, F22, F24.
- Sterilized by EO gas. Non-toxic. Non-pyrogenic, single use only.
- Individual Packing: Blister/PE.
